Finally is the first word I titled the thread with and now I can say "Finally I finished my 66!" we scored a 99 for paint at MCACN according to the judge the highest score for paint that he has ever given. Mike is the hardest working autobody restorer that I have ever met.
I could not have done it without friends like Jim Evans, Ray Mersch, Second Gen Guru's Tom Migut and Jack Duer, and last but not least Mike and Michele Roeder at Roeder Restoration for working so hard on the body and paint, we scored a 99 for paint at MCACN according to the judge the highest score.

MY 1940 FORD BUSINESS COUPE
WE REPLACED THE FIREWALL W/A SMOOTH BITCHIN FIREWALL AND SHAVED THE DRIP RAILS AND PUT A 1/4 INCH ROD IN IT'S PLACE TO KEEP THE PROFILE.
After much thought we decided to run A/C.
MAKING A DELETE PLATE FOR THE DASH.
I bought this 40' Ford project back in 2005.  I have most of the parts to put it all together, but finding the time isn't always that easy.  Fortunately I met an old school hotrodder that loves to tinker and be creative to help me mock the car up.  He has worked on the steering, AC, gas/brake pedals and e brake, wiring. Got it in color in the fall of 2014.  Painted the car w/SPI Red.  A brilliant red. Now it's time to get her wired up, install the A/C and the dash...hopefully the old school hotrodder's helper is up for the job... Brought the 40' to Oz Custom Upholstery in Columbus KS.  He did a fantastic job. He even built the seats for a perfect fit.  Now I'm waiting for the custom rims and steering wheel (Oz will give the s.w.  a leather half wrap).  Can't believe it almost done!
